The Lowcountry’s Running Festival takes place in the award winning community of Habersham, located just a few miles from downtown Beaufort, South Carolina.
Race start/finish lines, health & fitness expo and post race party are located in the Habersham Marketplace, 11 Market, Beaufort, SC 29906. Click here for a google map.
2023 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS (subject to change)
Thursday, March 23, 2023:
11:00 am – 2:00 pm: Packet Pick-up at Riverview Charter School – Main Entrance Conference Room.
4:00 pm – 7:00 pm: Packet Pick-up at Riverview Charter School – Main Entrance Conference Room.
Riverview Charter School is located at 81 Savannah Hwy, Beaufort, SC 29906.
Saturday, March 25, 2023 – RACE DAY:
*packet pick-up for pre-registered participants in all events will be open until the start of the event
2:00 pm – Late registration opens at the Habersham Fire Station. Cash & Credit Card payment only for onsite registration. T-shirt and swag not guaranteed.
3:30 pm – Youth 1 Mile run – ages 3-14 (registration for 1 Mile closes at 3:00 pm)
4:00 pm – Kids 1/4 Mile Fun Run – ages 7 and under (registration for Fun Run closes at 3:30 pm)
4:30 pm – Beaufort Challenge Leg 1, 5K Run & Fun Walk (registration closes at 4:00 pm)
5:30 pm – 10 mile Run, Beaufort Challenge Leg 2, 8K Run (registration closes at 4:00 pm)
6:00 pm – After Party begins.
7:45 pm – Awards Ceremony for 8K, 10-Mile, and Beaufort Challenge. After Party continues following awards.
Events will be held rain or shine. Schedule is subject to change.
2023 PACKET PICK-UP
Packet pick-up for pre-registered racers will be available Thursday, March 23rd from 11 am – 1 pm and from 4 – 7 pm at Riverview Charter School (81 Savannah Highway, Beaufort, SC 29906). Packet pick-up on race day will begin at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 25th at the Burton Fire Station located at the entrance to Habersham. You can pick up your packet up until the start time of your race.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
» Overall winners ineligible for military, hometown hero and age bracket awards.
» Registration for 5K and above events include one cotton t-shirt (not guaranteed after March 1.) Tech shirts can be purchased separately on site.
» Special student pricing (17 yrs and younger) is available on registration page.
» If you’d like to run the 5K and 8K, you can sign up for each event and you’ll receive a $10 discount. You will only receive one t-shirt.
» Only the first 80 13.1 Beaufort Challenge finishers will receive a medal on event day!
2023 POST-RACE PARTY
The After Race Party is always as big a part of the Lowcountry’s Running Festival as the races! All events will be held rain or shine! Live entertainment is supplemented with a variety of gourmet food trucks and vendors that offer multiple selections for dinner and snacking options, including kid friendly. And as it has been every year since our first, fresh local oysters will be featured. All food purchases will be handled directly through each vendor; no pre-purchased tickets necessary. And of course, the many fabulous Habersham Market restaurants will be open as well!
